MANILA, Philippines — China will “coordinate seamlessly” with the Philippines on the renegotiation of mortgage agreements, Chinese language Overseas Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin stated on Monday.
Wang made the assertion after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr ordered the Division of Transportation to debate the agreements.
Earlier, the Philippines scrapped three multi-billion-peso railway tasks as Marcos was renegotiating the loans.
The railway tasks are the Subic-Clark Railway Undertaking, the Philippine Nationwide Railways South Lengthy-Haul Undertaking, and the Davao-Digos section of the Mindanao Railway Undertaking.
