MANILA, Philippines — The Struggle Illicit Commerce (Struggle IT) Motion recommended the latest push from Home Senior Deputy Majority Chief Ferdinand Alexander Marcos and PBA Partylist Rep. Margarita Ignacia Nograles to curb illicit tobacco commerce via Home Invoice (HB) No. 3917.

The Marcos-Nograles invoice goals to amend the 2016 Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act of 2016 (Republic Act No. 10845) to incorporate and classify the unlawful entry of uncooked tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, and heated tobacco merchandise as financial sabotage and a nonbailable offense.
