LONDON — Britain’s international workplace on Friday summoned Russian Ambassador Andrei Kelin to specific “deep concern” over stories of the dying of a British support employee.
“I’m shocked to listen to stories of the dying of British support employee Paul Urey whereas within the custody of a Russian proxy in Ukraine. Russia should bear the total duty for this,” Overseas Secretary Liz Truss mentioned.
“These accountable shall be held to account.”
An official within the self-proclaimed Donetsk Individuals’s Republic (DPR) introduced Paul Urey’s dying earlier within the day.
His dying was additionally confirmed by British charity Presidium Community, which described him as a humanitarian employee and denied he had any army background.
Urey, 45, was detained and charged with “mercenary actions” by separatists within the DPR, a breakaway entity that’s acknowledged solely by Russia, Syria and North Korea.
